Terms and Conditions for Borrow Boxes
- Borrow Boxes are loaned out for a period of three weeks. Extensions can be requested and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Borrow Boxes contain historic artefacts which need to be looked after properly. The box will be checked before it leaves and when it is returned so make sure the objects are undamaged and packaged securely. In light of this, upon collecting and returning the Borrow Boxes, please be prepared to wait whilst these procedures take place.
- One person must be responsible for the Borrow Box whilst it is away from the Centre. It is important to note that private arrangements must not be made to loan out the box to another school or organisation. The Borrow Box must stay with the organisation or school that has the loan agreement with the Centre.
- There are teacher’s notes in every Borrow Box which are designed to be used by bother the teacher and the pupils. they should also be returned with the objects.
