50/50 Club Application

We are delighted to offer all supporters of the Garioch Heritage Centre an opportunity to win one of our 50/50 Club cash prizes while helping to raise funds to help cover the costs of running the Garioch Heritage Centre.   

To be entered into our monthly draw for the chance to win a cash prize simply set up a standing order (using online banking or the form below) and return your application to the Garioch Heritage Centre.  Standing Order payment can be £5 per month or £15 per quarter or £60 per annum if you prefer.  Number holders will be allocated a number for every £5 per month they pay into the 50/50 Fund and their number (or numbers – you may hold as many numbers as you wish) will go into a monthly draw for a cash prize.   

Half of the money raised goes towards the upkeep of the Centre and half as prize money.  

The Garioch Heritage Centre 50-50 Club Rules

1. The Garioch Heritage Centre 50-50 Club is a private lottery and is open to all members, friends and supporters of the Garioch Heritage Society.
2. Number holders must be aged 16 or over.
3. Number holders will be allocated a number for every £5 per month they pay into the fund and may hold as many numbers as they wish.
4. Payment will be made by Standing Order to the Garioch Heritage Society 50/50 Club bank account and can be monthly (£5), quarterly (£15) or annually (£60) for each number allocated.
5. A draw will be made by the Chairman at the monthly meetings of the Society or on the first Wednesday of the month if there is no Society meeting that month.
6. There will be a first, second and third prize.
7. The total prize money each month will be 50% of the total money paid in that month, of which 50%, 30% and 20% will be allocated as 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.   
8. When more than 200 numbers are eligible for a monthly draw, the prizes will be £250, £150 and £100 with the surplus being carried forward for a special December prize.
9. Cheques will be posted to the name and address on the membership applications associated with the winning numbers within one week of the draw.
10. The winning numbers for each month will be displayed in the Garioch Heritage Centre and on the Society’s website and Facebook page.
11. If a winner cannot be contacted, or a winning cheque is not cashed, after six months those winnings will be donated to the Garioch Heritage Society to be used to support the Centre.
12. Numbers will only be entered in the draw if they are paid up to date.   A member will be deemed to have given up any number for which payment has lapsed for more than one month. 
13. The Garioch Heritage Centre 50-50 Club will be run by the Garioch Heritage Society Committee.   In case of any dispute, the Committee’s decision is final.
